A review of past workshops
Over the past two months, Flanders Make has had the opportunity to welcome several companies to its offices in Kortrijk and Leuven with the intention of discovering new projects and learning from demos of our partners regarding digital work instructions (DWIs).
We are aware that several solutions for digital work instructions are available in the current market. Our first goal in the DWI4Manufacturing project, is to learn about all the solutions and to show them to our network. For this purpose, we launched a workshop that took place in Kortrijk on 14 June 2022. During the workshop, participants had the chance to get to work with DWI platforms and ask the necessary questions for their specific application to the providers of these platforms. The platforms covered were: Proceedix, Azumuta, Manual.to, GoRound, LightGuide Industrial AR, Passerelle, Ansomatic and Arkite.
17 participants from the region attended the workshop, ranging from small to large enterprises. From the positive feedback from both participants and providers, we can conclude that the workshop was a success. During this project, we hope to be able to organise similar workshops all over Flanders to welcome companies from all Flemish regions.
A second goal of the DWI4Manufacturing project, is to provide advice to companies interested in implementing digital work instructions in their working environment. To provide this advice, it is important to have a good understanding of the individual needs and requirements of the company. To this end, we held a second workshop, which took place on 12 July in Leuven. During this workshop, several demos of Flanders Make were shown where digital work instructions are integrated. Here, the companies could see implementation examples and estimate how it can be applied in their own working environment. 2 companies participated in this workshop and were given full attention so we could answer all their questions.
Finally, we would like to thank all the people who were part of our workshops. Both the participants, who could still make time to attend despite their busy schedules, and the providers who came to show their solutions and the possibilities of their platforms as well as the Flanders Make team and the DWI4Manufacturing team that made the workshops possible.
