Digital work instructions within the Make Lab
Digital work instructions within the Make Lab
In our newsletter this week, we would like to highlight two companies, namely Proceedix and Ansomat.
Proceedix
Proceedix is a digital inspection and instruction workflow execution platform. The core of the system is a workflow in which each specific task of an instruction or inspection is specified and indicated how to execute it correctly. Every time a workflow is executed, all the details are recorded. The Proceedix platform has several features specifically designed to meet typical instruction and inspection execution requirements in the industry. This includes actions such as line monitoring, plant safety checks, periodic inspections of assets and infrastructure, execution of maintenance and repair instructions .... You can find more information by taking a look at the Proceedix.com website or by gathering information on our knowledge database via Proceedix – knowledgde base.
Ansomatic
Ansomatic is a modular DWI platform, based on Augmented Reality (AR) and Machine Vision Technology, in response to the increased need for traceability, operator guidance and accurate manufacturing processes (Industry 4.0). Ansomatic enables operators to perform any process without errors. By digitising work instructions and projecting them directly onto the work area, while monitoring human actions, everyone is able to do the job.
The software consists of 3 modules that build on each other:
- Digital work instructions : Operators are guided step-by-step by contextual information on a monitor.
- Projected work instructions: Instructions are projected on the workplace by means of visuals, videos, etc. This way, operators are guided through the process in a very intuitive way: 'Just follow the lights.
- Supervised work instructions: Operator actions are monitored and corrected using vision systems with built-in artificial intelligence.
More information about the platform can be found by browsing their company website Ansomat.com or on the knowledge database at the following link: Ansomat – knowledge database
Make Lab
Within the framework of the DWI4Manufacturing project, the Make Lab plays a major role. The Make Lab is a mobile trailer with different set-ups. This trailer drives around Flanders and can be brought to companies, schools or events for demonstrations. The aim is to show new Industry 4.0 technologies to a wider audience. Proceedix acts in the Make Lab as a how-to-guide to prepare and dismantle the set-ups for upcoming events. Thanks to these procedures, even workers with little experience can use the Make Lab.
The aim is to implement multiple work instruction platforms in the Make Lab in the future. This will increase diversity and allow us to demonstrate these platforms to interested parties as well. Then, we can give companies a better idea of all the possibilities and advise them to make the right choice.
