Web based user interfaces
The ceros project focuses on setting up the right user interfaces for maintaining an efficient synergy between human operators and robot systems. Web based applications have increased drastically in number the last years. The technology has proven useful for developing software for multi type device systems, fast application development and system dependencies. With these web based interfaces, machines can be controlled using your available web browser installed on your device of choice.
Flexible tool framework
Today’s market offers a variety of robotic tools for a wide range of applications. The selection, configuration and incorporation of the robotic tool in your system still requires a lot of development time. The latest tool selection and pick point generation application of FlandersMake is further investigated in the CerosCoock project. Whether your tool is incorporated in your robot system or it is configured parallel with the robot is a choice that needs to be supported. The first demonstrator will hold this choice in mind. Both flexible setups (with tools controlled externally) or fast systems (with tools included in the robot programming) are supported in future investigations.
Skill based frameworks
In order to efficiently program robots and reduce programming time there is a need to look for brand independent and higher order logic programming tactics. The CerosCoock project will investigate the skill based programming frameworks currently on the market, allowing users to efficiently and flexibly program their robot setups. Skills are not only limited to robots but are further taken to camera and robot tool frameworks. This strategy not only allows quick robot programming and configuration but also allows the integration of planners to automate robotic tasks.
